Arthur Archer
Born in Gloucester, educated at the Kings School as a chorister in Gloucester Cathedral, became head chorister and soloist.
Moved to Denstone College with a choral scholarship, became a senior choir member and Captain of Music. Learned the basic rudiments of conducting at the cathedral. Did National Service in the RAF, whilst there formed various small choral groups who sang for various Charities.
In the 80's did a short stint with Bromley Choral Society then faded from the music scene until joining St Columba Celtic MVC.
